noticing

a pattern of me taking one day off every other week? when my alarm goes off and my eyes sting a bit when i open them to see what time it is, my brain is quickly convinced of the logic that is presented for me to call in. as i go over it now, i still think that the logic holds firm. i have three weeks of vacation. the girl only has one. i am looking for a job and will most likely take the first one offered. although i will get paid for any leftover vacation when i leave this job, the taxes that get taken out are horrifying. i really don't like it when the girl leaves for work and i am being a bum, but i don't like being here anymore either and until i find something new....taking a day off here and there and sleeping until noon is a good temporary fix. tuesday night i saw a movie with the girl, the specialist and the aussie. some girl sitting right behind us got a phone call and of course answered it and started yapping away. it was also some brilliant conversation that went something like this "he got sentenced to 6 months today" "no, no only 6 months" "yay he got by with the rest" "i told him to only call the house phone" "yay the house phone. i can't always be talking on my cell" "huh?" "no i'm at a movie" "that's alright. what are you doing?" blah, blah, blah.
