twike,

twike, twike, twike! i want one, but it's not going to happen anytime soon. i've been drooling over smart cars ever since i saw one, but that's not going to happen either. they are done producing them. canada got their hands on a few, but we aren't getting any because they don't think they can sell any with everyone being suv my car can take up way more space than your car crazy. so they aren't going to go through all of the hassles getting them up to us standards. then i saw a twike. ahhhhh.......it's a little longer, but still tiny and healthy for the earth. (happy earth day by the way) this most likely isn't going to happen either though. it's a kit. it looks easy enough, but i haven't even had time to figure out the bass's recording equipment yet. it's still super expensive to get here. they aren't up to the us dot standards so i would have to do a lot of paperwork and extra stuff. it's pretty funny that it's not up to standard though because the standards for german and swiss vehicles are much tighter that here. hence all of the environmentally friendly vehicles available there. the problem is simply because they are different. the us wants things labeled differently. really? a labeling system is what's stopping lots of people from being able to afford environmentally friendly vehicles? yep. i find it funny that it would only take me ten minutes to buy a huge gas using vehicle and up to a year to get a small electric car. is anyone else out there drawing any conclusions? anyway, there is also the corbin sparrow, which is only a one seater (the girl will have to have her own) that is working on the us market, but it is still too expensive for me to make the jump into that world.
