what

the fuck is what i was thinking too, but i'm not feeling as withdrawn now, so here we go. a couple of fridays ago i took the day off (i had absolutely no projects at work and it wasn't worth the drive) after watching a night of boxing and ran around town with the bass (who's seven or more month wait for a new guitar ended yesterday) and then stood around the metro like a stalker with the barfly until we got free tickets into the coldplay concert. was the girl with me? no. wasn't that the ticket that i was trying to get for her? yes. did i call her and wait outside with the ticket so she could go in? nope, i couldn't. it was either take the ticket and go in or don't get the ticket. and yes i did feel like a complete asshole, but i did smuggle my phone in (they were making everyone check them at this particular concert, but lucky me i had just bought one so i gave them the dead one) and called her to listen. the $300 a ticket crowd quite sucked as we assumed it would while we watched old men in suits with barely dressed women walk in the door with tickets. sure enough gwenyth was there too. the way she looked at him was beautiful. i took my shirt off, but i couldn't get her attention. her loss. saturday i procrastinated and procrastinated some more and wrote interview questions for a band in my car right before i was suppose to meet them. i think i work better that way. my brain is juiced and spinning around at that point. sunday was a super fun softball game. we busted out the keyboard and during the inning prior to the batteries going dead, the girl played and we scored five runs. sure the other team was kicking our ass, but you would have thought it was the other way around. i like that. hands up masterbatters!! then it was off to the girl's parent's house for a seven hour mother's day event that included a ninety minute phone call to my mom. between that and last friday there was lots of shopping, my car got covered by sludge from a trash truck on the highway and all of the screens at the theatre stopped so we had to sit through the trailers again after twenty minutes of nothing while listening to some lady call everyone she knows to ask them what happened. then friday night the girl and i saw a horrible stage band. their levels were crazy so you couldn't hear anything but bass and the singer was creepy with a mister rogers smile and band conductor movements. saturday we ate way too much lunch with nice shirt and ran off with the cowboy to a very cold soccer game.
